Narok, Kenya – Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale presided over the third graduation ceremony of the Darul Quran Islamic Centre in Narok County, celebrating 25 young graduates who demonstrated exceptional proficiency in Islamic studies, including mastery of the Holy Quran, Sunnah, and Akhlaq.

The event brought together community leaders, political figures, and religious stakeholders, highlighting interfaith harmony and national unity. CS Duale emphasized the need for integration and coexistence, urging parents to embody Islamic values in daily life to serve as role models for the youth.

In his address, Duale promoted the Social Health Authority (SHA), a key government initiative that has now surpassed 28 million registrations nationwide. He highlighted its benefits, including free outpatient services at public, private, and faith-based facilities, backed by national investments in medical equipment and supplies through partnerships with county governments and the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority.


The ceremony was hosted by Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu, with attendance from Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok, who both commended the Muslim community’s contributions to integrity and national development. Duale was accompanied by Lafey MP Mohammed Abdi, nominated MP Adbisirat Khalif, and Narok County Commissioner Kipkech Lotiatia.

The event underscored the government’s commitment to education, health, and inclusive growth.
