NAIROBI- President William Ruto has paid glowing tribute to Supreme Court Judge Mohammed Ibrahim, describing him as a principled jurist, a passionate defender of human rights, and a steadfast champion of multi-party democracy.

The President said Justice Ibrahim would be remembered for his unwavering commitment to justice, constitutionalism, and the rule of law.

Dr. Ruto noted that his career left an indelible mark on Kenya’s judiciary and democratic journey.

President Ruto highlighted the judge’s historic achievement as the first member of his community to be admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

He said the milestone broke barriers and inspired generations to pursue justice, public service, and equality before the law.

“He blazed a historic trail, opening doors for many and demonstrating that dedication, integrity, and courage can transform institutions and society,” the President said.

On behalf of the nation, President Ruto extended his deepest condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, and the wider legal fraternity, acknowledging the profound loss felt across the country.

He urged Kenyans to take comfort in Justice Ibrahim’s enduring legacy.
