TAKABA – Entrepreneur and Founder of the Siyad Foundation, Haji Siyad Abdalla, EBS,MBS,OGW has extended warm congratulations to the winners and participants of the North Eastern Region Secondary Schools Sports Championships 2026, which concluded successfully in Takaba, Mandera County, from July 20th to 22nd.
In an official statement, Haji Siyad Abdalla described the event as “a remarkable celebration of talent, discipline, teamwork, and regional unity.” The championships brought together secondary schools across the region, fostering sportsmanship and inspiring young athletes through healthy competition.

The regional champions crowned during the three-day tournament are as follows:
- Soccer Boys: Takaba Mixed Secondary School
- Volleyball Boys: Furaha Boys Secondary School
- Volleyball Girls: Wajir Girls Secondary School
- Netball Girls: Hon. D.M. Girls Secondary School
- Basketball Boys: Takaba Day Secondary School
- Basketball Girls: Rhamu Girls Secondary School
Haji Siyad Abdalla highlighted that these victories reflect “hard work, resilience, and the spirit of excellence.” The winning teams will now represent the North Eastern Region at the KSSSA National Championships in Kiambu County. He urged the athletes to carry the region’s pride and compete with courage, integrity, and determination.
