Garissa County has received a boost to its critical health care services following the delivery of essential medical equipment.

The machines were funded by the Global Fund and implemented through AMREF in partnership with Garissa County.

The delivery includes 10 patient monitors, seven oxygen analyzers and 146 oxygen flow meters.

The equipment wil strengthen the management of critically ill patients and improve the quality of emergency and inpatient care.

Mr. Mahat Sheikh Salah, the Chief Executive Officer of Garissa County Teaching and Referral Hospital said the new supplies will enhance monitoring of patients, ensure accurate oxygen delivery and support frontline health workers.

He said the supplies will save lives particularly in rural health facilities that previously faced shortages of critical care tools.
