President William Ruto expressed shock and sadness upon receiving the news. “I have received with profound shock and deep sadness the news this evening of the passing of Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament, Mheshimiwa Johana Ng’eno,” the President said. Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale extended condolences to all bereaved families. Having served alongside Hon. Ng’eno in Parliament before transitioning to the Cabinet, Duale described him as a courageous voice for his constituents.
“My heartfelt condolences go out to the families and friends of the six people who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash in Mosop, Nandi County, among them, MP Hon. Johanna Ngeno of Emurua Dikirr Constituency,” Duale stated.
